Snow White 2011 Competition

Competitions here at OC3D have been getting gradually bigger over the last few years, our New Year tradition started back with Arora 2009. Arora was a House of Kolor Kamelion custom painted custom modified system, skip a year and we gave away the ONLY Mars GPU that Asus ever allowed out for a competition and not only that but thanks to some close work with the guys at Bitspower we had a waterblock made for it as well!

The Standards have been set incredibly high, all our own fault really but keeping with the tradition of surpassing the previous year made our job even more of a mammoth task this year. White for systems is a personal favorite of all the staff here at OC3D so we felt it necessary to impose our love of this on to the readers and try to educate you all in the awesomeness of white!

Mushkin were very much on the same page as us when it came to the wicked white and amazingly agreed to my cheeky request to custom manufacture white heat sinks for their amazing Ridge Back ram kits. There are literally only a handfull of these sticks in existence and yep you guessed it they are only available here at OC3D. So if you want White ram you had better hope you win the whole white system to go with it!

Hi Guys

I have 2 x GTX 580 running in SLI, everything running fine, until I get home from work tonight and find this icon (Yellow triangle) :-

When I clicked on it, it just disappeared, but then if I triend to watch a YT vid or play a game, my monitor would go into Power save Mode, but then come back on striaght away...... sometime PC would freeze for a second or two.

I realised Nvidia have released new drivers, so installed them to see if it would fix the problem, so far so good.

Has anyone had this before, Could there be something wrong with one of the cards?????

Are they SLI Haley?

Check the bridge mate. Mine used to do crap like that all the time.

thats the drivers mate

is it overclocked?

temps will cause the drivers to crash aswell

Temps are all good..... Installed latest drivers, seems to have fixed it, I hope

Was worried something might be wrong with the Card, as had no trouble until last night
