ITX cases seem to be getting very popular, and for good reason - especially when you see them built like this. However, it's a rarity to see such astute craftsmanship and style in an ITX case that invites you to be able to see all the awesome-sauce that's running through the veins of the power it's housed in.

We had a chat with Justin from Parvum Systems about this build and the plans for the future. Read on for what he had to say...

Q. How much planning goes into building something with this level of complexity? And, how long was that process?

A. For this build the planning process was actually very small. I suppose most of the build pulls ideas from previous projects such as Onwards and Upwards and any other things we've found along the way doing customer orders. If we learn a technique or do something we really like, it usually goes onto the mental list for the following project.

For this build, no sketch-up or renders where used. Any ideas pretty much came in the moments before one falls asleep.

Q. From the first day of building to the last - how long did it take you guys to finish the build?

A. 24th May 2013 - 5th Jul 2013

Q. How can our readers place a custom order with yourselves?

A. We primarily focus on just cases rather than custom builds. For custom spec' cases simply fire an email over to -info@parvumsystems.com and we will do our best to cater for their needs.

Q. Will our readers be able to see some of your work in the flesh at up-coming events?

A. Loughborough Lan Freshers LAN41: 27th October 2013 Confirmed (we are having a exhibitor stall at this LAN and doing a student Q&A)

  • The Gadget Show Live: 1-3 November Confirmed
  • Multiplay iSeries i50: 29 November 2013 Confirmed
  • Loughborough Lan 6-8 December 2013 Confirmed
  • E-Spark LAN 15-17 March 2014 Confirmed
  • Multiplay iSeries i51: 22-25th March 2014 Confirmed
  • Multiplay iSeries i52 23-26th August 2014 Confirmed
  • Dreamhack Winter 27-30 November 2014 Confirmed

We are always super friendly and ready to discuss everything and anything with peeps.

Q. Any insider information on your next project?

A.   BIG. 6 Radiators. 4 GPUs. 8 SSDs. 4 PUMPS. Imagine project ITX on steroids.

Q. What's the short and long-term vision for Parvum Systems?

A. Short term: Release the retail version of the ITX case. Long term: Improve our current range of cases based on customer feedback. Expand the range to a full series of cases. Implement a more web accessible user customisation option for our already modular cases.

We would like to thank Justin for taking the time to answer a few questions.
