EK have showcased their upcoming Gigabyte Z270X-Gaming 7 monoblock, which will cool both the motherboard’s  VRMs and CPU core with a single water block.

This monoblock design is not only more aesthetically pleasing than most multi-block offerings but it also simplifies hose/tubing management, with only a single input and output holes for coolant instead of the having to deal with inputs and outputs for several separate motherboard and CPU water blocks.

EK will be revealing more information on this monoblock at the start of next week, where the company will also reveal pricing information.

We have also had confirmation that EK has plans to introduce similar monoblock designs for future high-end AM4 motherboards, finally allowing AMD users to use a CPU+Motherboard monoblock. Before now these monoblock designs have been exclusive to Intel users.
