When Asus set out to create an X58 Supercomputer motherboard they didn’t cut any corners. The new P6T7 WS SuperComputer is a revolutionary and powerful Parallel Computing solution boasting dual nforce 200 chips and 7 PCI-E Gen2 x16 slots, four of which can simultaneously run in x16 link mode, supporting up to three NVIDIA Tesla cards and one NVIDIA Quadro card thanks to the NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing architecture.

The P6T7 is capable of 3-way/2-way SLI and CrossFireX giving users greater flexibilty when it comes to the choice of graphics hardware. Other features include 6 memory slots supporting a maximum of 24GB DDR3 2000, six SATA II ports, two SAS ports with RAID support, 12 USB 2.0 ports, ADI 2000B 8-channel High Definition Audio, and Realtek 8111C Dual Gb LAN with teaming capabilities.

Without stability a powerful Workstation motherboard would be rendered useless, so Asus ensure that the board is more than capable of maintaining rock solid stability with their 16+2 power management technology. 16 phases are dedicated to the vCore and 2 phases to the vDRAM/QPI controller inside the CPU. Low RDS on MOSFETs, Ferrite core chokes, and 100% Japanese made high quality conductive polymer capacitors enable the P6T7 WS to achieve longer component lifespans with minimum power loss.
