NVIDIA debuts nForce570 LT SLI to target AMD 570X

Right after AMD announced a new chipset 570X that supports CrossFire in a 8X + 16X configuration, NVIDIA comes out with another chipset known as Nforce570 LT SLI.

NForce570 LT SLI should be similar to the nForce570 SLI with reduced functions, but it turns out that 570 LT SLI is way apart from the 570 SLI. For example, for SATAII: 4 VS 6, 570 LT SLI also removed TCP/IP Acceleration and Dual net etc.

nForce570 LT SLI seems to look like the nForce560, compared to nForce560, NForce570 LT SLI has an additional Dual 8X SLI functionality. The rest are just like the NForce 560.

Looks like nForce 570 LT SLI is aimed at the AMD 570X chipset.

Disappointing really...

I got the one that`s not a `plus` in stock, the plates that came with it won`t fit any of my cards that are any good. (will fit an old gf4 doh!)

Difference being here are the plates to house it to u`r card.

Price of the `plus` version, with it`s different retaining plate, little metal thing, is pretty expensive in comparison. $55 USD in the same ball park as the $73.80 AUSD. Swear the older one was less than $40 USD.

Must look into designing a ghetto plate.

Nah u should be ok as u linked the PLUS one whereas I have the older one.

It`s really too bad u`r in OZ, I`d be interested in any bits u got left over after u`ve built it >.< Bit too pricey on the postage.

works pretty well here :)
i'm using mine with one o those sharkoon silent eagle fans (120mm 2000rpm)
it dropped my idle temps from 60C to around 50C, and load temps dropped from 77-78C to 58-59C at stock speeds and with fan around 1400rpm

oops, forgot to add that i did lap my HR-03 Plus (sorry didn't take pics)

when it first arrived i checked it with a razor blade, found it to be pretty concave and so lapped it immediately
