Right in the steps of its HD 5830 card, HIS Digital yesterday released two new HD 5870 graphics cards. Dubbed the HD 5870 iCooler V and the HD 5870 iCooler V Turbo, both new cards carry HID’ proprietary iCooler technology.

The HD 5870 iCooler V Turbo is a factory overclocked card that features 1600 stream processors, an 875MHz GPU clock speed and 4900MHz memory speed. The HD 5870 iCooler V on the other hand has the same stream processors and work at the reference 850MHz core clock and 4800MHz memory clock speeds. Both cards also have two DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs.

The main feature of the new graphics cards is HIS’ iCooler V heat sink technology that has been designed to keep the card significantly cooler than the reference. The specially designed heat sink also keeps the operating noise from the cards noticeably lower.

The Turbo edition card has been listed with a price of €469 while the standard card has been given a price tag of €444. Both cards come with a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 voucher that allows users to download the action game for free.

Hi Guys,

I've decided to change my home entertainment setup and as a result am selling my HTPC system. Its probably only been running for 6 months and has worked really well. I've had both Windows 7 and Vista installed and the IMON software has all the codecs for the major formats.

Here's some pics:

- Intel Q6600 (with stock cooler)
- 4GB OCZ GOLD PC2-6400
- MSI P7NGM-Digital mATX (with all HDMI outs etc)
- Enermax Liberty (i think) 350w PSU
- Sapphire HD 4770
- DVD-RW Drive (fully stealthed)

Just so I know, you're not splitting it up are you? Selling parts separately? If not then interest removed.
