MSI release the specifications of their GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X

MSI has now released the specifications of their GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X, offering a large cooler design and a beefy 8+2 phase power delivery system. Â

While this GPU’s Twin Frozr VI cooler may look immediately familiar to MSI fans, it is worth noting that this GPU comes with some significant upgrades when compared to its other GTX 10-series counterparts, with a larger finstack,Â a thickness of 2.5 PCI slots and a new heatpipe configuration.Â

We can also see that the main body of this GPU’s heatsink is also connected to the GPU’s VRMs, ensuring that the power delivery system of this GPU will remain adequatelyÂ cooled at all times. We can also see that this GPU will use both front and rear plates to protect the PCB from damage and to provide additional passive cooling and rigidity to the GPU as a whole. Â
