Philips have clarified the specifications of their new 349X7FJEW 3440x1440 21:9 FreeSync display, confirming that this display will support refresh rates from 40-100Hz with LFC.

With DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 this display will support refresh rates of 40-100Hz, and also support between 40-60Hz using HDMI 1.4. This gives this display a large dynamic refresh range when considering its price of £759 in the UK, though at this time the Philips 349X7FJEW is not available at any UK retailers.

This display will come with support for 100x100 Vesa mounts, coming with support for both HDMI and DisplayPort connections. This display also comes with a three-way USB 3.0 splitter. This display will also come with an 1800R curve, with built-in 5w speakers.

She's a bulky one. I like it otherwise. Good specifications at a not unreasonable price.Quote

40-100hz?

Not bad at that res. But I am slightly disappointed. I just hope Vega is good enough to stay above 40 Quote

Just about the same specs as Samsung's recent ultrawide offering, the CF791. Unfortunately, not a 10-bit, HDR capable monitor. The wait continues...Quote

No monitor is HDR yet. I by that I mean true full scale HDR, not that half-baked in support.Quote
