References to AMD's RX 500 series have been found in their companies latest Radeon Software Crimson 17.3.2 GPU driver, confirming the existence of the RX 560, 570 and 580.

This new driver lists the RX 580 and 570 as an AMD67DF device ID, the same ID used for Polaris 10 GPUs, with the RX 560 coming with an AMD67EF device ID, which is the same as the Polaris 11 based RX 460.

It seems clear that these new GPUs from AMD are based on the companies older Polaris architecture instead of Vega, making these new GPUs a Polaris refresh, rather than a completely new GPU design from the company.

It is likely that the RX 500 series will use faster memory and GPU core clocks than their RX 400 series equivalents, potentially coming with different GPU core counts in certain SKUs.
