Star Wars: Battlefront Gameplay Launch Trailer

On November 17th many of us will be travelling to a Galaxy Far Far Way, so you just know that the next few weeks will be bombarding us with adverts trailers and more from this upcoming title.

Today we now can look at the games launch trailer, which is actually really good.  I hope the upcoming movie is as exciting as this trailer.

Prepare to be transported to a galaxy far, far away and fight in epic multiplayer battles and intense Missions on Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and the previously unexplored planet, Sullust. Let’s Play Star Wars.

Looking that the game’s minimum and recommended specs we can see that this game will be pretty demanding, requiring a minimum of 8GB of system memory and at a minimum a Intel i3 6300T or equivalent CPU, which is a new Intel Skylake CPU.

Sadly EA have not provided any minimum or recommended requirements for AMD CPUs, but hopefully the title will run well on them.

Moving up to the recommended requirements we can see that EA recommend an i5 6600 Skylake CPU, Windows 10, 16GB of System memory and a GTX 970 or AMD R9 290 GPU.

Minimum PC System Requirements

Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Recommended PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent
Memory: 16GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent

It is a shame that EA has not told us how the game is expected to run in these configurations, or on what settings, but it looks like Battlefront is going to be a very demanding title.
