SilverStone Releases USB 3.0 Accessory Range

SilverStone Technology have announced a range of USB 3.0 upgrade cards designed to provide existing desktop and laptop systems with USB3.0 capabilities. There are three products in this new USB 3.0 product range, the EC01 a short PCI-E x1 internal card, the EC02 an ultra slim ExpressCard Adapter for laptops and the EC03 which is the EC01 bundled with a front I/O bay.

All three products use the NEC USB 3.0 controller and can provide 900mA of power for high draw devices. They are of course backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 and have drivers for all major Windows operating systems.

The EC01 card used in both the EC01 and EC03 products can take advantage of an extra a 4pin Molex power connector to help it provide the power required for high 900mA draw USB 3.0 devices.

I have been going over it allot watching reviews and unboxings and I have narrowed it down to 2 cases that I would consider buying, the Cooler Master HAF X and the Corsair 600T. Both have a great look and both have loads of airflow I just don't know. I shall have a ASUS Maximus IV Extreme and a GTX 590 in it so which will be better?

Thanks

The 600T would come close to keeping up with the HAF X air flow but with all those 200mm and 230mm fans the HAF-x will have more air flow and probably more quiet and more easy to work in.

Haf X is my vote as well Cooler Master has produced some very nice airflow cases

Although I have never tried either cases, the Haf X would definetly get my vote.
