PayPal starts trademark battle with Pandora
PayPal has now started a trademark battle with Pandora, who’s new “P” logo is often mistaken for Paypal’s three-year-old “PP” logo. Â
The music streaming company Pandora, who launched their new logo back in October 2016, has now been sued by Paypal who states that their logo is “unlawfully similar” to their own logo and harms the PayPal user experience by causing PayPal users to accidentally open the wrong app.Â
 Â
Â
In this trademark infringement lawsuit, PayPal wants a federal judge to stop Pandora from using their current logo. PayPal also seeks for Pandora to pay PayPal’s legal fees and damages to punish the company for infringing on their trademarked logo design.
