PNY announce their CS2030 series of M.2 NVMe SSDs

PNY has announced their new CS2030 series of M.2 NVMe SSDs, offering read and write speeds of 2750MB/s and 1500MB/s and capacities of up to 480GB.

These new SSDs will use Phison’s PS5007 controller and MLC NAND flash, coming with capacities of either 240GB for $179.99 or 480GB for $329.99. These SSDs will be backed up with a three-year warranty, taking advantage of four PCIe 3.0 lanes via an M.2 slot.

The only major downside of this new SSD is that it comes with a blue PCB, which will be an issue for those who do not use an M.2 SSD cooler/cover as it will clash with most modern motherboards.
