In our introduction we spoke about how, despite various calculation tests, the reality is that most of us just want our systems to be pretty fast in Windows with general browsing and similar tasks, and good in games. PC Mark tests both of those elements and it’s clear that the Pentium Anniversary isn’t too bad at all. In fact the gap between the Dual Core wonder and the next CPU up of the Haswell range is surprisingly small.
