PC gamers can currently grab a copy of the Alien Breed Trilogy for free through GOG

As part of the company’s “We Love Games Sale” GOG are currently giving away free copies of the Alien Breed Trilogy for free on their DRM-free PC storefront, giving PC gamers access to three free games in one unified package.

The Alien Breed series is an arcade-shooter franchise where players battle against swarms of intelligent aliens, upgrading their equipment over time while adjusting their tactics to stay one step ahead of the alien menace.

With the Alien Breed trilogy being an Unreal Engine 3 title from 2011, it is safe to say that most PC gamers should be able to run this game without much challenge on their systems. The game supports modern OS’ and was able to run on older PC hardware at launch, which should mean that even gamers using integrated graphics should be able to play the Alien Breed Trilogy.

The Alien Breed trilogy includes Alien Breed: Impact, Alien Breed Assault, and Alien Breed Descent. The games will be available for free on GOG until 2 PM GMT on February 17th.
