Cooler Master will release MasterKey S keyboards with Cherry MX speed switches, offering faster inputs by using a smaller actuation distance and full n-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting technologies.

Before now Cherry’s MX Silver “speed” switches were exclusive to Corsair’s Rapidfire series keyboards, offering an actuation distance of 1.2mm instead of 2mm and a powerful keyboard input controller for the fastest possible response time.

While some gamers prefer to have RGB lighting and an angular “gamer” aesthetic, many of us prefer something that is plain and more minimalistic, which is exactly what Cooler master offers with the MasterKeys S. This keyboard will have RGB lighting and has the ability to switch between Windows, Mac, and Linux keyboard layouts, as well as between QWERTY, DVORAK, and Workman layouts.

Right now it is unknown exactly how much the MasterKeys S “Cherry MX Speed” keyboard will cost, though it will likely come with a price premium over its cherry MX red equivalent.
