Microsoft release Halo Wars 2’s PC system requirements

Microsoft has now released Halo Wars 2’s PC system requirements, requiring 4 CPU cores, 6GB of system memory and a GPU with at least 2GB of VRAM.

The game runs using the DirectX 12 API, which means that the game will require a relatively modern GPU in order to run properly, though the game’s minimum GPU requirements are remarkably low requiring a minimum of a Nvidia GTX 660, an AMD HD 7750 or an Intel 520 integrated GPU.

Creative Assembly, the creators of Halo Wars 2 currently recommend CPUs that have 4 native CPU cores, though at this time it is expected that a Hyperthreaded i3 or Pentium (Kaby Lake) CPU could run the game without any issues.
