Mushkin announce their first mechanical keyboard

Mushkin, the memory and SSD manufacturer, has now entered the peripherals market, with their Carbon KB-001 mechanical keyboard, which comes with Kailh brown key switches and both RGB and Monochrome lighting options.

The KB-001 is designed to offer its users a more simplistic/professional design than “gaming” oriented keyboards, with a CNC carved anodised brushed aluminium frame which is designed to withstand a lifetime of use.

Mushkin’s new KB-01 will feature 100% anti-ghosting technology, 104 key rollover and will use a braided fiber cable to connect to your PC.

Right now the Mushkin KB-001 is expected to launch with prices starting at $70, with is very affordable for a backlit mechanical keyboard, especially one that uses an aluminium frame. At this time it is unknown when this keyboard will hit the market, though it is expected sometime this year.
