DiRT 4 will release on June 6th

Codemasters has today announced DiRT 4, the latest iteration of the popular motorsport series. This game has been listed on Steam with a release date oof June 6th, a date that is less than 5 months away, which means that the game has already been through most of its development cycle. 

This new game will build upon the physics and damage mechanics of previous games in the series and will include a new “Your Stage” system, which will allow players to create their own rally tracks with a few simple button clicks, allowing players to a seemingly limitless number of tracks. 

The game will also feature a new version of RACENET, which will include live ladder events, leagues and tournaments, with cross-platform leaderboards.

 Motorsport by its very nature is dangerous – it says so on the back of the ticket. DiRT 4 is all about embracing that danger. It’s about the thrill, exhilaration and adrenaline that is absolutely vital to off-road racing. And more than that, it’s about loving that feeling. It’s about pushing flat out next to a sheer cliff drop. Going for the gap that’s slightly too small. Seeing how much air you can get in a truck. They call it ‘being fearless’. 

Right now DiRT 4 is set to release on June 6th on PS4, PC and Xbox One. At this time the game has no set PC system requirements.
