Nvidia releases performance benchmarks for Mass Effect Andromeda
Nvidia has released new benchmark results for Mass Effect Andromeda, listing a GTX 1070 as capable of 60 FPS as high settings. Sadly Nvidia has been very unclear about what resolution these benchmark results come from, listing “high settings” but no resolution, leaving many to expect these are results from 1080p testing.
If these results are indeed from a 1080p version of the game, Mass Effect Andromeda is going to be an exceptionally demanding title on PC, making high framerates at resolutions like 1440p and 4K a difficult task for most PC gamers.
We have asked Nvidia for clarification on these results and to list the resolution they used for their testing.

MEMORY: 8 GB RAM
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
HARD DRIVE: At least 55 GB of free space
DIRECTX: DirectX 11

MEMORY: 16 GB RAM
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GB

DIRECTX: DirectX 11
Mass Effect Andromeda will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 21st in the US and March 23rd in the EU.
