Star Wars Battlefront II Official Gameplay Trailer

EA has released a new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II and a lot of new information about the title. The game was designed based on fan feedback, offering 3x as much content as the previous game at launch.

To start, the game will release with a Single Player Campaign, which is a whole new Star Wars Story that is mostly based between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The game will tell a story from an Imperial perspective, offering a different take on the “Fall of the Empire” era of Star Wars history.

In Multiplayer the game will also have content that is based on each Star Wars Era, coming with multiplayer maps from the Clone Wars Era, the Imperial Civil War Era and battles from the new Star Wars trilogy. This means that we will get Clones VS Droids, Imperials vs Rebels and the First Order vs The Resistance.

Battlefront II will also have some free DLC content, which includes Finn and Captain Phasma Hero DLC which will come when Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases later this year.

In multiplayer, players will be able to play as Hero characters from outside of each map’s era/time period. In the Clone Wars Theed map EA has already showcased gameplay from Boba Fett, Rea, Han Solo and Darth Maul (pre-robot legs), none of which were active in the Clone Wars Era.

Star Wars Battlefront II will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17th.
