Skype suffer connectivity issues across the EU

Skype users across the EU are currently suffering from a range of connectivity issues, preventing certain devices from sending or receiving messages.

This issue started last night, with Skype stating that the issue was fixed on their support Twitter account, however, the problem still persists. Skype’s Heartbeat website has been more recently updated to confirm that users are still experiencing problems, but that they are continuing to look into the issue.

Strangely, this issue is not only affecting certain areas of the Skype network but also specific devices, with office/business users reporting that some accounts/PCs function properly whereas others fail to log on or receive messages and calls. Some users will also find that desktop PCs fail to function while laptops and mobile devices do, though the opposite could also be the case.
