The Evil Within’s PC system requirements have been released

Bethesda has officially released the PC system requirements of The Evil Within 2, which is set to release on Friday the 13th of October.

The game itself is built using the STAM Engine, which itself if is a highly modified version of the id Tech 5 engine. Sadly these minimum and recommended system requirements do not define framerate, settings or resolution targets, so it is unknown exactly how well this game will run on the PC platform.

Detective Sebastian Castellanos has lost everything, including his daughter, Lily. To save her, he must descend into the nightmarish world of STEM. Horrifying threats emerge from every corner, and he must rely on his wits to survive. For his one chance at redemption, the only way out is in.

Below are the PC system requirements for The Evil Within 2, which recommends 16GB of system memory and a minimum of an i7 4770 or a Ryzen 5 1600X.

OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 / AMD FX-8320 or better
8 GB RAM, 40GB free HDD space
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7970 3GB or better

Recommended:
OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or better
16 GB RAM, 40GB free HDD space
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB / AMD RX 480 8GB or better
