Microsoft’s Windows 10 April Update will release on April 30th
With an initial release on April 30th, it is likely that most Windows 10 users will not receive any update notifications until sometime in May, making the update; rumoured “Spring Creators” name seems a lot more appropriate.
From April 30th Windows 10 users will be able to update their PCs manually, with Microsoft’s latest changes to Windows 10’s installer allowing more of their software update to be delivered before rebooting, reducing system downtime by over 50% when compared to last year’s Creators Update.
Windows 10’s April Update was initially set to release on April 10th, with unforeseen bluescreen issues forcing Microsoft to delay the release for 20 days, almost missing their April release target.
