Black Desert: Remastered releases next week – Huge graphical and audio overhaul planned
For starters, 60 voice actors have re-recorded the audio of 130 NPCs, over 100 new songs have been added to the title including over 300 minutes of full orchestral music. These changes are designed to increase immersion and realism.Â
On the graphics side, the game will be updated to include physically based rendering, lighting and atmospheric scattering alongside HDR support, improves screen-space reflections and a range of graphical optimisations. Below is a list of all of the game’s planned graphical changes.Â

Alongside these changes, Pearl Abyss announced upcoming content updates that include the addition of a new male ranger class, a new region called Ordelita and alterations to the game’s early-game levelling experience. These changes will not release with Black Desert Online’s Remastered update.
