Nvidia’s DLSS and RTX tech will be added to Justice, the Chinese MMO
With RTX, Ray Traced Reflections will be added to Justice, generating realistic reflection on a range of objects, using data that comes from outside of the screen space, providing polished armour with a lifelike shine while allowing wet city streets to reflect the lighting around it accurately. Nvidia’s RTX technology will also enable Justice to feature Ray Traced Shadows, generating proper shading from multiple light sources and even simulate area lights accurately.
For the most part, Nvidia’s DLSS technology is designed to improve Justice’s performance, offering up to a 40% boost in framerate, mitigating some of the impacts of Nvidia’s demanding RTX effects. On top of that, DLSS is expected to offer higher quality results that the game’s Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) can deliver.
The popular Chinese MMO is getting a new update! GeForce RTX’s cutting-edge features and performance bring ray-traced reflections and shadows to Justice’s gorgeous recreation of ancient China. And with DLSS, performance is accelerated and anti-aliasing improved.
With this announcement, Nvidia also announced that over two dozen games have committed to supporting DLSS, with “even more integrations in progress that have yet to be announced.” So far, Nvidia’s AI-powered DLSS tech has garnered more interest than Real-Time Raytracing, with DLSS promising games a performance boost with minimal visual downsides. The post process nature of the effect also makes DLSS support easier to implement than RTX Ray Tracing.
