Grab Control for free on the Epic Games Store while you can

For the next 24 hours, Control will be available to purchase for free on the Epic Games Store, giving gamers free access to the base game. This free game offer will be available until December 27th at 4 PM GMT, after which a new game will be available for free from the Epic Games Store. 

Until December 31st, Epic Games plans to give away a new PC game every day as part or their “15 Days of Free Games” promotion. After Control, five games will be given away through this promotion. 

Control is an 3rd person action-adventure game that follows Jesse Faden, the new Director of the secretive Federal Bureau of Control, as she harnesses a range of supernatural abilities to combat a paranormal threat. 

    After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control.

From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.

Control is Jesse Faden’s story and her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Jesse works with other Bureau agents and discovers strange experiments and secrets.

For owners of DXR compatible graphics cards, Remedy’s Control highlights some of the industry’s best uses of real-time ray tracing to date, delivering incredible visuals for those with the right hardware. Even without ray tracing, Control is a looker, explaining the game’s high hardware requirements.
