G.Skill launch their Trident Z5 Royal series of DDR5 memory kits
Luxurious design meets massive speeds – G.Skill launches their Trident Z5 Royal series of DDR5 memory modules
G.Skill have today launched their new Trident Z5 Royal series of DDR5 memory modules. With these new kits, G.Skill are promising users speeds of up to DDR5-8400 and kit capacities of up to 96GB.
The fastest of these new Royal series DDR5 models will offer users DDR5-8400 speeds with CL40 timings and 48GB (2x 24GB) of capacity. These new memory modules will be Intel XMP 3.0 compatible and will be available this month.
Like the company’s last-generation Royal series memory, G.Skill’s new DRAM models inherits its predecessor’s lustrous mirrored-finish heat spreader (with gold or silver colour) and a crystalline light bars. These light bars can be controller using G.Skill’s Trident Z Lighting Control software or third-party motherboard lighting software.

This current crop of Royal series DDR5 modules from G.Skill are designed with Intel processors in mind, offering users XMP 3.0 support. At this time, it is unknown of AMD EXPO compatible Royal series DDR5 modules are in the works. If they are, they will likely arrive after the launch of AMD’s next-generation Zen 5 processors.
