Intel is Ubisoft’s official PC hardware partner for Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be optimised for Intel’s Core CPUs and ARC GPUs
Intel has announced that they are now Ubisoft’s official PC hardware partner for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. That means that Intel will be working directly with Ubisoft to optimise their new Samurai/Shinobi game. That means that this new AC game will be optimised for Intel’s Core CPUs and ARC GPUs.
Thanks to this partnership, we can expect Assassin’s Creed Shadows to launch with support for Intel’s XeSS 1.3 technology. Additionally, we can expect the game to be optimised for Intel’s latest hybrid x86 CPUs.
Intel was the hardware partner for last year’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and it launched with support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR. Even so, the game lacked support for DLSS and FSR 3 Frame Generation. Let’s hope that these features will not be missing in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. After all, FSR 3.1‘s Frame Generation feature can be used with XeSS.
From spectacular castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and pastoral landscapes, explore a vast open world using the power of Intel optimizations. – Intel

One question we have is if Intel will launch their Xe2 based “Battlemage” desktop GPUs ahead of AC Shadow’s launch. Xe2 will be available soon with Intel’s Lunar Lake CPUs. However, Intel has not confirmed when Xe2 will arrive for the discrete GPU market.
