No Man’s Sky now supports DLSS 3, but it needs to be fixed
DLSS 3 is now available in No Man’s Sky, but I’d avoid Frame Generation, at least for now
No Man’s Sky has just received a huge update called “World’s Update Part 1”, which adds improvements to the game’s visuals, performance, and more. Additionally, this update adds new features like Nvidia DLSS 3 support, new creatures and more. Sadly, No Man’s Sky is not running well with DLSS 3 Frame Generation enabled, which is a problem for RTX 40 series GPU owners.
With DLSS 3 Frame Generation enabled, No Man’s Sky currently feels less smooth. There are reports of flickering from users, and visual instability. For now, we recommend that players simply stick to DLSS Super Resolution, and avoid Frame Generation until it is updated/fixed.
Currently, there is a Experimental Branch/Update in the works for No Mans’s Sky on PC. Players can download this update early, though its patch notes make no mention of DLSS 3 Frame Generation.
Thanks to Update 5.0 (World’s Update Part 1), No Man’s Sky feels like a new game. There is a lot of new content to enjoy, and the game’s visuals have received a major upgrade. Hello Games have done a great job transforming No Man’s Sky since its troubled launch. Simply put, No Man’s Sky isn’t the game that launched in 2016. It has been transformed into something greater than anyone expected, and the game keeps getting new updates.
