Alleged Nvidia RTX 50 series performance targets leaked

Nvidia’s high-end Blackwell series GPUs may be up to 63% faster than today’s Ada models

Today, we have a fresh leak from RedGamingTech, who claims to have new performance targets for Nvidia’s RTX 50 series graphics cards. These new GPUs will be based on Nvidia’s “Blackwell” graphics architecture, and reportedly support GDDR7 memory.

One notable aspect of this leak is that it reveals what could be a new GeForce TITAN graphics card. This GPU is reportedly called the “TITAN AI“, and it appears to utilise the full potential of Nvidia’s Blackwell graphics architecture.

With the rumoured TITAN AI, Nvidia reportedly targeting 63% performance gains over today’s RTX 4090. With the RTX 5090, performance gains of 48% are targeted. This will make the TITAN AI around 10% faster than the RTX 5090.

Nvidia’s RTX 5090 reportedly features 28GB of GDDR7 memory over a 448-bit memory bus. This is not the full potential of Nvidia’s GB202 silicon, which reportedly features a 512-bit memory bus.

Nvidia’s RTX 50 series performance targets get less ambitious for their lower tier products

Sadly, Nvidia’s targeted performance gains for the RTX 50 series are less ambitious for their RTX 5080 and RTX 5070. Respective performance gains of 29% and 26% are reportedly targeted. That’s much lower than Nvidia’s targeted gains for their RTX 5090. Once again, there may be a huge performance gap between their RTX XX90-class GPU and its XX80-series counterpart.

Regardless, performance gains of over 25% are notable. If these GPUs are priced similarly to their current-gen counterparts, that will result in a significant boost in value for gamers. That said, it remains to be seen whether or not these performance targets are accurate, and if Nvidia will price these GPUs aggressively.
