Intel drops the prices of its Core Ultra 5 225 series CPUs

Intel gives its Core Ultra 5 series CPUs a major price decrease

The prices of Intel’s Core Ultra 5 225 and 225F CPUs have dropped significantly, falling from prices of £230-£250 to under £170. This change dramatically increases the value for money of Intel’s lower-end Arrow Lake CPUs, making them a lot more appealing to PC builders.

Currently, Ebuyer offers the best UK prices for Intel’s Core Ultra 5 series CPUs. Better still, Intel are giving away copies of Dying Light: The Beast and Civilization VII with these new CPUs.

Both of these CPUs have 10 cores (6 P-Cores + 4 E-Cores) and have P-core boost clock speeds of 4.9 GHz. The only difference between these CPUs is their inclusion of an Xe integrated graphics chip. The standard 225 has an integrated GPU, while the 225F lacks this feature.

Currently, Intel’s new 225 series pricing isn’t available at all retailers. We expect all retailers to change their pricing soon. So far, Intel has not commented on this price decrease.
