Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds receives a free demo ahead of launch
Sonic Racing CrossWorld now has a free demo on Steam and consoles
Ahead of the full game’s launch on September 25th, SEGA has released a free demo version of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds on Steam, Xbox Live, and the PlayStation Network. This demo allows players to play as four characters, use 12 different machines, and play across 8 courses. This includes three main courses and five “CrossWorlds”.
Sadly, local split-screen will not be available in this demo. However, this feature will be available in the full game. This demo also lacks online multiplayer. Regardless, it is more than enough to give players a taste of the game ahead of release, letting them know if it is a game that’s worth investing in.
The full PC version of CrossWorlds has 24 tracks, 15 CrossWorlds and 23 characters, making it much larger than today’s demo.
