Netflix releases its first full trailer for Splinter Cell: Deathwatch

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is coming to Netflix on October 14th

Netflix and Ubisoft have released their first trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, a new animated series that will be coming to the platform on october 14th.

According to IMDb, the series will have sixteen episodes. Given the nature of Netflix and its limited commitment to series that aren’t insanely popular, there is no guarantee that more episodes will be added after this.

Liev Schreiber takes on the role of Sam Fisher in this series, with Derek Kolstad being the series’s lead writer and producer.

Sam Fisher is back and this time, the mission is personal. From the creator of the “John Wick” franchise comes Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, only on Netflix on October 14th. Starring Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher & Kirby Howell-Baptiste as new Splinter Cell agent Zinnia McKenna.

Netflix

Netflix has had great success with series based on video game properties. Hits include Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Arcane, Castlevania, and Devil May Cry. Will Splinter Call Deathwatch be another hit for Netflix?

Ubisoft are reportedly working on a remake of the original Splinter Cell. However, it is worth noting that Ubisoft has not discussed this remake for several years. The game is either deep into production, or it may have been quietly cancelled.
