Ubisoft’s unveiling Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory DLC later today

Ubisoft’s about to unveil Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s free “Valley of Memory” DLC

Ubisoft is getting ready to unveil a new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, “Valley of Memory”, a free content update that will bring a “new story chapter and missions” to the game. Additionally, the DLC will feature a new location, the ancient Arabian city of AlUla, as well as improvements to the base game.

This new DLC will be revealed later today at 5 PM BST. This DLC was reportedly made following a deal between Ubisoft and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). This is the same group that is part of the consortium attempting to acquire EA for $55 billion.

This free DLC will bring Basim Ibn Ishaq, the game’s protagonist, to 9th-century AlUla, Saudi Arabia. All owners of Assassin’s Creed Mirage will get this update for free, including new owners of the game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released in 2023 and isn’t the newest game in the series. This makes the release of this DLC a strange oddity. That said, this Assassin’s Creed Mirage DLC makes a lot more sense now that it seems clear that Saudi Arabian money is involved.
