New Black Myth Wukong update to add AMD FSR 4 support and performance enhancements
AMD FSR 4 support is coming to Black Myth Wukong alongside new performance enhancements
Game Science is getting ready to release a new update for the PC and PlayStation 5 versions of Black Myth Wukong. On PC, Black Myth Wukong will receive support for AMD’s FSR 4 upscaling technology. On PS5, gamers will receive a new 60 FPS performance mode that delivers increased smoothness and reduced input latency. According to GamerSky, this update will be released later today.
On both platforms, the game now features new CPU and rendering performance improvements. Additionally, memory usage has been optimised across the game. On PC, the game’s “low GI” quality level has been improved to make it look more like GI’s high setting. Overall, the game’s performance has been optimised to deliver smoother performance and higher framerates.
Additionally, a new “compatibility mode” has been added to Black Myth Wukong. In this mode, features like ray tracing, frame generation, and super-resolution sampling are disabled. This mode should help PC gamers who have having issues running Black Myth Wukong due to driver, hardware, or system issues.
This update is great news for all gamers on PlayStation 5 and PC. Both platforms should benefit from the game’s new performance optimisations. Users of compatible AMD Radeon GPUs should also have a much greater gaming experience, given FSR 4’s image quality improvements over older versions of FSR. This new update should be available later today on PC. Note that the widespread changes that this update delivers could impact mod compatibility.
