No Recall – ASUS confirms ROG Matrix RTX 5090 delays
ASUS has confirmed that there is no problem with its ROG Matrix RTX 5090 GPUs
ASUS has officially refuted rumours of an ROG Matrix RTX 5090 recall. However, the company has confirmed that it had “adjusted the original timeline” (delayed) product shipments to “allow additional time for product improvements and to ensure an optimal customer experience.”
ASUS has confirmed that already sold ROG Matrix RTX 5090 GPUs contain no flaw. Furthermore, they have not created a new revision of their ROG Matrix RTX 5090. ASUS had to adjust its production timeline to ensure high quality. This delayed product shipments.
ASUS’ ROG Matrix RTX 5090 graphics card is the most powerful RTX 5090 available. It features a higher out-of-the-box maximum TDP than any other RTX 5090, thanks to its custom 800W mode. However, this mode requires both a BTF and 12V-2×6 power input.
There is no product recall for the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090. We proactively adjusted the original timeline to allow additional time for product improvements and to ensure an optimal customer experience. The products will arrive at our partners within the next few days. Availability may vary by region.
