GeIL unveils its gemstone-themed Aquarius Diamond DDR5 memory modules
Ahead of their grand debut at Computex 2026, GeIL has unveiled its new Aquarius Diamond RGB-series DDR5 memory modules. These memory modules are inspired by precision-cut gemstones, pairing an aluminium heatsink with a dazzling “diamond-cut RGB light-bar”.
These new RGB-illuminated DDR5 memory modules will be available in Graphite Black and Glacial White colour schemes. Each module features a diamond-cut textured lightbar that refracts light to create an interesting aesthetic. Each module passes “GeIL’s exclusive and rigorous testing process” to deliver high levels of reliability and signal integrity.
Sadly, GeIL did not unveil the frequencies or timings of these new DDR5 memory modules. However, GeIL noted that these DDR5 memory modules target “demanding workloads” such as “advanced gaming” and “intensive AI applications”. Hopefully, that means high frequencies and tight CL timings.
GeIL has already unveiled new JEDEC spec DDR5-8000 memory modules ahead of Computex. At a minimum, we expect GeIL’s new Aquarius Diamond DDR5 memory kits to deliver DDR5-8000 memory speeds at much tighter timings. After all, memory latencies can matter a lot more than raw bandwidth in many workloads. This is especially true for gaming workloads.
