DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations has been revealed

DOOM: The Dark Ages is getting an expansion

Bethesda has unveiled DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations, a new campaign expansion for DOOM: The Dark Ages. This DLC is launching on July 7th and will be available on all the same platforms as DOOM: The Dark Ages.

The Slayer is trapped in purgatory, wounded and betrayed. Players must escape this prison, using new weapons to combat new demonic threats. This DLC features new levels with deeper puzzles and new combat options. The Chain Spear will make this DLC feel very different to DOOM: The Dark Ages, giving series veterans a new combat system to master.

HELL FREEZES OVER in DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations, an all-new campaign expansion that unleashes a brutal new chapter of the Slayer’s saga.

Wounded and betrayed, the Slayer is thrust into a merciless purgatory only escapable by confronting haunting truths and forging new strength with the help of a mysterious ally. He must ascend from the prison of his mind and fight an abomination of the gods to set his followers on the path to freedom.

Featuring new levels with deeper puzzles, new demons, and new mysteries, Revelations opens up a whole new dimension of combat. The all-new deadly Chain Spear offers returning slayers a uniquely satisfying combat system – one that rewards mastery with enhanced power and mobility.

Also included is the highly anticipated Ripatorium 3.0, adding DLC content (3 new maps, new demons, and fully upgraded new weapons) plus deeper customization, improved pass code generation, and saving + loading personal presets.

Owners of DOOM: The Dark Ages’ premium edition will get this DLC for free. The game’s premium edition upgrade costs $34.99. Separately, this DLC will be available for $19.99 in the US.
