iiyama’s new G-Master GOB2701QSC-B1 Titan Falcon OLED monitor delivers 1440p at 280Hz with G-Sync support
iiyama has officially launched its new G-Master GOB2701QSC-B1 Titan Falcon, a 27-inch “META 3.0” OLED monitor that boasts a 280Hz refresh rate and a 1440p resolution.
This new screen uses a 4th-generation WOLED RGB Tandem OLED panel, boasting richer colours and higher brightness levels than older OLED panel types. This display features a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and a DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. The screen is also Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, with a G-Sync range of 48-280 Hz over DisplayPort. This screen is also FreeSync Premium certified. Like most OLED screens, theGOB2701QSC-B1 boasts a fast GTG response time of 0.03ms.
Connectivity-wise, this monitor excels. Owners get two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 connection, and a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode support. This USB-C port can also provide up to 65 W of USB Power Delivery to connected devices. That’s great news for laptop users. This monitor also features a x3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 5 Gbps hub, which can connect to a PC using a USB Type-B connector.
In the UK, this monitor is currently listed for £499.99 at Overclockers UK and £479.99 at Novatech.
