AMD releases 26.6.3 HotFix Preview to fix its BIG Windows 10 Bug

Radeon issues AMD Software HotFix to address Windows 10 compatibility issues

Following the release of AMD Software 26.6.2, gamers quickly uncovered major compatibility issues with Windows 10 PCs. The driver would fail to launch on Windows 10 PCs, preventing PC gamers from accessing the driver’s benefits. Thankfully, AMD has now released a hotfix to address this Windows 10 issue.

Until now, AMD has recommended using its older AMD Software 26.6.1 driver as a “temporary workaround”. However, this driver lacks support for AMD’s FSR 4.1 upscaler on RDNA 3 graphics cards. Now, thanks to the AMD Software 26.6.3 Hotfix Preview, RDNA 3 users can utilise FSR 4.1 on Windows 10 PCs.

Given how monumental AMD Software 26.6.2 is for RDNA 3 GPU users, many gamers are rightly disappointed that this driver doesn’t work on their Windows 10 systems.
