DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction leaks through Modern Warfare 4’s PC beta
Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction tech has been released early through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s PC beta
The PC beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has arrived with a new form of Nvidia’s DLSS technology, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction. With this release, PC tweakers have managed to extract the game’s DLSS files, letting gamers add them to other games.
Using tools like Nvidia Profile Inspector or DLSS Swapper, gamers can use these files to upgrade existing games with Nvidia’s newest DLSS 4.5 tech. DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction improves graphical fidelity using Nvidia’s AI-enhanced denoising tools. This enables higher quality results by preserving details that traditional denoising steps would discard, delivering enhanced ray tracing with fewer visual artefacts.
DLSS Swapper support has arrived (some manual tweaks required)
DLSS Swapper has been updated with Modern Warfare 4’s new DLSS files. With DLSS Ray Reconstruction (RR), a new “Preset F” is now available. While some manual intervention is currently required to get this working with DLSS Swapper, the tool should be updated over the coming days to remove this step. DLSS Swapper has detailed how to manually enable DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction support here.
DLSS (SR, RR, FG) v310.7.12 has been added.
I am told that RR now has preset F. There won't be a DLSS Swapper update for a few days to add support for preset F but you can enable it yourself.

Expect DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction to launch this week
Nvidia plans to host a new “GeForce On” event at Gamescom 2026. We expect Nvidia’s new Ray Reconstruction update to launch when this event finishes. This support should arrive with a new GeForce GPU driver update, enabling new DLSS 4.5 overrides in the Nvidia app.
If you don’t want to do manual tweaking with external tools, you should wait for Nvidia to officially release its new Ray Reconstruction update. If the update arrives when we expect it, it should arrive within the next two days. Nvidia previously said the update would arrive in August. That means the update should arrive within the next week, assuming Nvidia hasn’t delayed it.
