Path Tracing is now available in 007 First Light
007 First Light has received a huge graphical upgrade on PC
IO Interactive has just released 007 First Light’s path tracing update, letting PC gamers use path tracing alongside Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction for more immersive visuals with higher-detail lighting, shadows, and reflections. With DLSS Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation, First Light can even be played at ultra-high frame rates with these enhancements.
Alongside path tracing, this update will also add support for Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction tech, ensuring that PC gamers get the best path tracing visuals. This makes 007 First Light the first game to natively support DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.
Below are IO Interactive’s new PC system requirements for 007 First Light. These now include system requirements for First Light’s Path Tracing mode. Note that only Nvidia GPUs are listed for First Light’s Path Tracing mode. Only Nvidia GPUs support DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, so only Nvidia GPUs may be able to access path tracing in this game.
Note that this path tracing update was created in partnership with Nvidia. As such, it is recommended that path tracing is used alongside Nvidia’s DLSS features.
To celebrate the release of this update, 007 First Light is now available with a 20% discount. This makes First Light £47.99 in the UK. Note that this discount will be available today only.
