Gigabyte Leak unveils 24 next-gen Z990 motherboard models

Gigabyte’s entire Intel Nova Lake motherboard lineup has leaked

Gigabyte has registered a large number of new motherboard names in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) database, including 40 Z990 motherboard names across 24 models. These new motherboards are Intel Nova Lake-compatible designs with the company’s new LGA1954 socket. These models include ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, and E-ATX designs.

Intel’s first Nova Lake desktop CPUs are due to be released in Q1 2027. Based on a leaked roadmap, Intel will launch Nova Lake with models featuring up to 28 CPU cores. These CPU models will also feature large bLLC caches, which may dramatically improve Intel’s gaming performance.

Gigabyte’s new Z990 motherboards include Aorus Extreme, Master, Pro, Elite, Stealth, Eagle, and DS3H models. This covers the high-end, mid-range, and low-end motherboard markets. All detailed models use Intel’s Z990 chipset. No B960 or other 900-series motherboards have been listed.

While Gigabyte has listed 40 motherboard names across 24 models, it doesn’t guarantee all of them will be released. Some of them could arrive alongside Intel’s Nova Lake CPUs, and others may launch later. Some models may launch under different names/branding, and others may not be released at all.
