The new and lightweight MSI EX460 notebookMSI today took the wraps off yet another notebook offering, the release this time being that of its new lightweight EX460. According to MSI, the 4.4lbs system has the perfect blend of specifications to make it ideal for both work and play.
 
The EX460 has been equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and comes with up to 4GB of RAM. Graphics support is in the form of an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 card with 512MB of VRAM, while the display is an excellent 14in LED-backlit one that offers a ratio of 16:9 and a 1366×768 resolution.
 
The 500GB HDD provides all the necessary storage space. Rounding up the specifications are a Blu-Ray combo drive, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, integrated 1.3MP camera, and a 4-in-1 card reader. USB 2.0 support comes from the 3 ports; there is also a VGA-out and optional Bluetooth. The keyboard, which MSI claims has 51% larger keys than conventional keyboards, is ergonomically designed for ease of use.
 
MSI is offering users a choice between a 6 and a 9-cell battery depending on their usage requirements. While the notebook has been officially announced on the MSI website, there are no details provided about either pricing or availability.
