Corsair releases their H60 2018 Edition CPU cooler
Many can argue that AIOs also offer a much better internal aesthetic than beefy air coolers, allowing users to get a better view of their RAM, I/O Sheild and VRM heatsinks, areas of motherboards that are typically covered by traditional tower heatsinks. Even so, not everyone needs a large AIO like the H110i Pro of the colossal 360mm H150i Pro, leaving room in the market for a smaller offering, being suitable either for a compact chassis or a PC which has lower cooling requirements.Â
This is where Corsair’s new H60 2018 edition cooler comes in, utilising new pump and radiator designs to deliver increased performance when compared to the company’s old H60 models. This new model also makes use of a new SP120 PWM fan, with a speed range of 600-1,700 RPM, offering low noise levels of silent system operation.Â
Corsair’s H60 2018 will also make use of the same pump design as the H110i Pro and H150i Pro, offering the same RGB functionality and optimised coldplate. This cooler will support all modern CPU sockets like AM4, AM2/3, LGA 115X, LGA 1366 and LGA 2011/2066, AMD’s Threadripper/TR4 platform is the only exception.Â
  Â
This CPU cooler is available now with an MSRP of $69.99 in the US.Â
