ENERMAX reveals their Threadripper Specific LIQTECK TR4 AIO liquid cooler

Most AIO liquid coolers that support Threadripper merely have cold plates that are large enough to cover Threadripper’s Die-space, offering a tight fit that many will no doubt find too close for comfort. ENERMAX, a creator of high-end power supplies and cooling solutions has today announced their new LIQTECK TR4 series of AIO liquid coolers, the first to offer 100% coverage of Threadripper’s (and EPYC’s) IHS.

This will give the LIQTECK TR4 AIO a distinct advantage over its competition, even if it comes at the expense of compatibility with other sockets, offering a faster thermal transfer rate that competing solutions on TR4 thanks to its 100% IHS coverage.

ENERMAX even go as far as to say that this cooling solution will offer over 500 watts of cooling capacity, allowing it to easily handle overclocked Threadripper systems with relative ease.

ENERMAX LIQTECH TR4, the closed-loop liquid cooler, is custom-designed especially for the top-end enthusiast Threadripper CPUs.

The LIQTECH TR4’s base plate can cover the entire Threadripper’s IHS (integrated heat spreader) to deliver greater heat transfer efficiency and faster dissipation.

Furthermore, with the innovative high-flow-rate pump and patented Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) coldplate design, LIQTECH TR4 can deliver extremely high cooling capacity of 500W+TDP for heavily overclocked CPUs and demanding HEDT systems.

The LIQTECK TR4 series of AIO coolers will come with two variants, a 360mm (3x120mm) version and a 240mm (2x120mm) version. This will allow LIQTEK TR4 series coolers to fit into most modern PC cases.

Below is a video that details the installation process of ENERMAX’s new TR4 specific cooling solutions, which are both expected to hit store shelves in late August.
