Thermaltake reveals their TOUGHAIR series of CPU coolers

At CES 2021, Thermaltake has just revealed their TOUGHAIR lineup of CPU coolers, offering the DIY PC market various heatsink designs catered to different areas of the market.

Like most modern heatsink designs, Thermaltake’s TOUGHAIR series supports all mainstream Intel and AMD sockets, such as LGA 1200, LGA 1150 and AM4. Leger sockets like Intel’s LGA 2066 and AMD’s TR4 sockets are unsupported, with Thermaltake recommending their liquid coolers for more power-hungry processors.

Starting with the $35 (USD) TOUGHAIR 110, the smallest product in the TOUGHAIR product line, Thermaltake has confirmed that this heatsink will support CPUs with TDPs of up to 140 watts and that the heatsink’s lower profile design will allow the cooler to fit into smaller enclosures than their larger TOUGHAIR models.

The TOUGHAIR 310 and 510, which will cost $40 and $50 respectively in the US, utilise the same fin stack and PWM fan designs, with the 310 featuring a single 120mm fan while the 510 features two. Thermaltake’s TOUGHAIR 310 is designed to support CPUs with TDPs as high as 170W, while the TOUGHAIR 510 is designed to support CPUs with TDPs of up to 180W.

All three TOUGHAIR coolers use Thermaltake’s TOUGHFAN 12 Turbo fans, which support RPMs of 500-2000 RPM. These fans ship with anti-vibration pads and Thermaltake’s Gen.2 hydraulic bearings, which help them deliver ample cooling performance at low noise levels.

Thermaltake’s three TOUGHAIR coolers will be available at retailers in early February 2021. We expect the UK and European prices for these heatsinks to be revealed soon.

Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Cooling, Gaming Gear, and Enthusiast Memory solutions, today is proud to present a new Air Cooler series, the TOUGHAIR CPU Air Cooler.

Powered by optimized high static pressure fans that have the same design concept as the TOUGHFAN 12 fans, the TOUGHAIR CPU Air Cooler’s fans are equipped with an advanced Gen.2 hydraulic bearing, LCP fan blades, and a new anti-vibration mounting system to offer outstanding reliability and serenity to any gaming build regardless of the cooling solution.

The TOUGHAIR CPU Air Cooler is available in three configurations. The TOUGHAIR 110 is a top-flow design offering a compact footprint for smaller system builds; TOUGHAIR 310 and TOUGHAIR 510 are single tower designs featuring single and dual fan configurations unique heatsink fin array to maximize airflow for exceptional performance for the latest Intel and AMD Ryzen series processors.

The TOUGHAIR CPU Air Cooler and TOUGHFAN Turbo High Static Pressure Radiator Fan have a two-year warranty and are supported by the Thermaltake worldwide customer service and technical support network. TOUGHFAN Turbo is now available for purchase via Thermaltake worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors. TOUGHAIR CPU Air Cooler will be available in early February 2021.
