ASUS reveals four new passively cooled X570 Ryzen motherboards

ASUS has confirmed that they have four new X570 motherboards on the horizon, all of which feature passively cooled chipsets. These motherboard designs do not require fans on their chipset heatsink, eliminating a potential source of noise while also increasing the reliability of these motherboards by removing a potential failure point.

ASUS’ planned X570 passive motherboards are the new ROG CrossHair VIII Extreme, the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WIFI II, the ProArt X570-CREATOR WIFI, and the ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PRO WIFI II. These new motherboard models follow up on the success of ASUS’ CrossHair VIII Dark Hero, which launched in late 2020 with a passively-cooled X570 chipset.

Sadly, ASUS will be keeping the full details for these motherboards under wraps until next month. These disclosures will likely happen during Computex 2021.

Following up on the popularity of the ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO, we will be introducing four more additional ATX motherboards based on the X570 chipset featuring a passively cooled chipset.

For our ROG flagship series of boards, we have the long-awaited introduction of the EXTREME for the X570 chipset. Designed for the most demanding PC DIY enthusiasts, overclockers we have the CROSSHAIR series.
