MSI has today released new B250/Z270 Optane motherboard bundles, which come with an Optane 16GB system accelerator pre-installed. MSI say that these bundles will offer the Optane upgrade free of charge. 
 
This bundle is designed to offer $50 more value out of your motherboard purchases, though these SKUs are expected to be available in limited quantities. The inclusion of this Optane/XPoint system accelerator is to offer HDD users with increased performance, giving their system a significant speed boost to make it offer performance that is more akin to SSD storage.
